Berwang in winter
Skiers, snowboarders, cross-country skiers and winter hikers enjoy the most beautiful views in the Zugspitzearena. Seven ski resorts, 152 kilometers of slopes, state-of-the-art lifts. Whether you are a racecarver or a recreational skier, whether you are a beginner or a pro, you will find the terrain that suits your skiing style, your pace and your fitness.
Slopes as far as the eye can see
In the ski resorts of the Zugspitzarena the skiing is possible until spring. If Mother Nature is not quite as good with us, the most modern snow systems help out a little. The perfect preparation of the slopes ensures that you are always safely on your way, increasing your form and speed every day. Only the rustic huts at the edge of the slopes could then slow you down. With the "Top Snow Card" you can use not only the lifts of the Zugspitzarena, but also those in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Berwang, the winter sports paradise
Berwang and the Zugspitzarena are the real secret tip for cross-country skiers. Well over 100 kilometers of cross-country trails lead through charming landscapes and challenge beginners and cross-country skiers. No matter where you enter the cross-country ski trail - there are extensive laps and possibilities for interesting abbreviations. If you are not yet in shape, it is best to go straight to one of the local ski schools. These will prepare you for the slopes and cross-country trails.
Winter offers even more
Winter holidays does not mean just ski holidays. Enjoy the snow in all variations. On foot on more than 60 kilometers of cleared winter hiking trails, a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride or in the form of ice: Take your rounds on idyllic natural ice rinks or show off what is in your biceps with Curling. As snowshoe hikers or tour skier, you will come to the deep snow-covered slopes. A long ascent through the forest follows a rapid descent - with the toboggan.
